24th September was the day i came here, my family and I went to Pinang Fisherman Wharf in Sunshine Square for lunch before i went to the airport. The manager told me that I'll get homesick when I'm in Philippines, I didn't agree with him at first, but when i was in LCCT waiting for my flight to Manila, i started to think why i chose this way to travel, and i was thinking to turn back. But.. There's no way for you to turn back once we've already made our choice. Finally, I'm here already. almost 3months. =) I'm getting used to my life here, appreciate everything i have here, love everyone here who loves me. I love Philippines!! But... I love Malaysia... More!!!! hahh.
I came here with another teammate in Penang. Both of us were missed our family and at last, he decided to go home while I decided to stay here. I'm glad that I'm still here =) haha. I called my dad to tell him i was homesick, but he said it will be okay after few days. It's truth, I love it here now. Basketball, studies, people here, school, teachers, teammates, classmates.. All of them make my life better here. And of course my family members that always support me! Thank You!!
Study abroad is not an easy job. Of course it's fun but it's difficult. But it's a process in our life that we have to go through. Everything will be done by our own, no more 'Daddy!' or 'Mommy!' . .haha. For me, I regretted I didn't be with my family most of the time when i was in Penang. I spent most of my time hang out with friends. Sorry daddy mommy ='( I promise i'll spend more time with my family from now on. =) For those who're still staying with yr family, spend some time with yr family. I just get to go home twice a year, not more than 20 days at once. That means I only have maximun of 40days to spaend with my family in a year. Those are Numbers..
